The Screening Test Schedule

For Enrollment in Calculus I in Fall, 2008

The screening test will be given to students going through orientation during the summer and on August 20, and will be given to all students on Saturday 8/23 and Sunday 8/24. These are the two days immediately before the start of classes. Times will be determined in the next few days.

This test must be taken and passed by all students planning to take Calculus I. There are NO exceptions. A screening test taken and passed previously at Binghamton no earlier than May 1, 2005 will count. It does not have to be taken again.

You do not have to take the test before registering for the course. You can take it after registering. However, you must pass the test to be allowed to actually take the course.

The table below gives the schedule for the Screening Test for students intending to take Math 221 in Fall, 2008.

These sessions are on a "drop in" basis.

DO NOT LEAVE THIS EXAM TO THE LAST MINUTE. If there are no seats left when you show up, we will not be able to accomodate you.

You can START the test at ANY time in the indicated time slots and will have one hour to finish, although you may leave early if you finish early. The times indicated take into account the hour that it takes to complete the test.

You will receive your score as soon as you submit your answers.

If you fail the test you can take the test again on a different day.
