General information

The third examination used to be five hours of multiple-choice questions. Now it is offered in two independent segments seperately, the Life Contingencies Exam and Models of Financial Economics Exam.

SOA and CAS each offers its own version of the Life Contingencies. SOA offers Exam MLC, which includes 3 hours.

CAS will give credit for MLC; SOA will not give credit for 3L.

Math 450, Actuarial Models I and Math 452, Actuarial Models II, offered by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, are a preparation for Exam MLC.
