The Swiss Re Actuarial Award

The intent of this prize is to recognize and reward an outstanding undergraduate student who has an interest in the field of actuarial science.

Eligibility

The award is open to the University of Binghamton student who demonstrates outstanding scholastic and leadership abilities while pursuing an interest in the actuarial profession. The ideal candidate must have successfully completed at least one actuarial exam and have just completed their sophomore or junior year of college.

Award

$2,000 unrestricted cash award

Certificate of Recognition

Procedures

The candidate will be selected by the Chairman of the University’s Math Department after consultation with his or her colleagues. Notification will be made to Swiss Re for check processing.
