Algebra School's mini-courses abstracts:

Students who are interested in any of the mini-courses please make the registration with John Castillo, before friday July 13. The number of people in each course will be limited.

 

Important: there are not available single and double rooms in any of the event's hotels (Quirama, Llanogrande).

HOTELS

Here you will find the hotel cost ( Centro de Convenciones Quirama (where the event will be held) and Hosteria Llanogrande ).

Since the Coloquio is not properly in Medellín (but in a place which is 1 hour by car from it) and that the only hotels near the center of the event are Recinto Quirama and Hostería Llanogrande, we suggest you to make reservations in any of these two hotels.

Participants who will not take reserves in any of the event's hotels, we want to let you know that there are not restaurants close to the Convention Center Quirama (in a radius of 5 km ), so we suggest you to take snacks and lunches, for the whole weekt. It has a cost of one hundred thirty thousand pesos ($130.000).

The official airline of the event is AVIANCA, it will offer discounts to the participants of the XVII CLA.

The next information will explain you how to obtain the discount:

The participants to the event could get their tickets through the e-ticket service of Avianca, or in your prefered travel agency. To get such discount you need to have first, your registration to the colloquium and the "Electronic Card to Congress" which you obtain easily in the web page www.avianca.com

    • Enter to www.avianca.com
    • Go to “Products and services”.
    • Select the option “Congress” on the menu and then “Inscription to the program".
    • Edit the requested info (name, company) and select the congress of interest from the list.
    • Click on “Inscríbete y previsualiza tu tarjeta”.
    • Print the "Electronic Card".

ALGEBRA SCHOOL

The Algebra School will be hold during the week of the XVIICLA. The list of the courses will be publish on June 25th and the dateline for the pre-registration will be July 6th.
