Math 357, Operations Research

Binghamton University, Mathematical Sciences, Syllabus, 304 In the first 5-6 weeks of the course the following text will be used

Textbook: Saul Stahl, A Gentle Introduction to Game Theory, American Mathematical Society (1999).

The whole book will be covered in order.

For the second half of the course we will use either

Alan Sultan, Linear Programming - An Introduction With Applications, Academic Press (1993),

or

L. A. Dugatkin, Cooperation Among Animals: an Evolutionary Perspective, Oxford University Press (1997).

The choice will depend on the interests of the class.
