Getting to campus

The main US Interstates to the Binghamton area are I-81 and I-88. These interstates connect with the important NY-17. To get to the Binghamton University campus you can either:

1. Leave NY-17 at Exit 70 S (South). This exit leads to Route 201, which goes to campus. Exit Route 201 towards Binghamton. You will get to route 434. The main entrance of campus is the first exit on the right in route 434.

2. Exit I-81 at Exit 4 S. Take Route 363 (south, it only goes south) and then Route 434. To do that follow the road signs leading to Vestal. You will driving Route 434 West. The campus is in Vestal, not in Binghamton. The main entrance to the Binghamton University campus will be on your left.

Parking in campus

Once, that you are in the campus of Binghamton University, you will need to stop in information booth, to get a parking permit. From there, usually, you will need to get to paid visitors parking lot. To do that, you stay on the right on the trafic circle. The visitors parking lot is about 3/4 of mile at top of the hill.

Getting to LN-2005.

The department is in the area called Library North, which is part of the Bartle Library. The Bartle Library is a big building structure with a small skyscrapper. Bartle Library is accross the the visitor parking lot. To get LN-2005:

1. Cross the road.

2. Walk downhill leaving Glenn G. Bartle Library on you left (see Glenn G. Bartle Library ).

3. Take the overpass (see overpass to Library ).

4. Just at the end of the overpass, enter the first door on the left (see door to Library North ).

5. Take the stairs one floor up.

6. Look for room LN-2005.
