Abstract: In this talk I will describe two examples of mine: a non-regular Hurewicz fibration and a local product which is not a Hurewicz fibration. Each has its origin or inspiration in the 1955 paper of Hurewicz in which his fiber spaces were defined.
This talk should be particularly accessible to graduate students. The few definitions will be given as necessary and the omitted details might make good exercises.
