Title: Twisted Equivariant K-theory for Proper Actions of Discrete Groups (two talks)

Abstract: Twisted Equivariant K-theory has gained attention in recent years due to the work of Freed, Hopkins and Teleman and others. However, they start with the assumption that the acting group is compact. I will construct a model of twisted equivariant K-theory for a proper action of an arbitrary discrete group and the associated twisted Bredon cohomology.
