for a special meeting rate of $74.00 per night. Please tell them that you are attending the MAA meeting at Siena College. The Hampton Inn requests that reservations be made on or before October 7, 1997. After that time, the remaining rooms in the reserved block will be released, but one can still reserve a room at the conference rate ($74.00) as long as rooms at the Inn are available.

To get to the Hampton Inn, exit I-87 (The Northway) at Exit 7. Bear right on Route 9 North; the Hampton Inn is about 1/4 mile on the right. (For those approaching the Albany area via the New York State Thruway, exit the Thruway at Exit 24 and follow I-87 North.)

To get to Siena College from the Hampton Inn, follow Route 9 (New Loudon Road) South about 3.6 miles.

From the Northway (I-87), take Exit 5 and turn left onto US 155. Follow NY 155 to US 9. Turn right onto US 9 and follow it for about two miles; the college will be on the right.

From the New York State Thruway, exit at Exit 24 and follow the Northway (I-87) North, then apply the above directions.

Conference attendees will need a parking permit to park on campus. Please indicate whether you will require one when you return your pre-registration form. For those attending the Friday evening reception/dinner, you may pick up your permit when you arrive for the evening events. Please promptly display your pass in your car window. For all others, a parking permit can be obtained at the registration table on Saturday. Friday night attendees can park in the North Parking Lot (6 on the map) or try the Ryan Parking Lot (22 on the map) for parking closest to dinner. On Saturday, the best bet is the North Parking Lot (6 on the map).

The reception, dinner and lunch are buffet style. All three will be held in Serra Hall. The reception is in the Sub Shop, lunch in the Sub Shop/lower level, and dinner in the West Room.
