Project NExT (New Experiences in Teaching) is a national program for new or recent faculty in the mathematical sciences who are interested in improving the teaching and learning of undergraduate mathematics. Seaway NExT is a similar program designed for faculty members in the Seaway Section of the MAA.
Seaway NExT combines forces with PFF (Preparing Future Faculty) to organize a special program in conjunction with the Spring Seaway Section meeting. (See our Spring 2008 Program). Through the rest of the academic year, Seaway NExT participants maintain contact with each other electronically via a list serve, and in person at informal gatherings when the opportunity arises, such as at the Fall Seaway Section meeting. The list serve provides a forum for stimulating discussion of topics of interest to participants.
