This will be a description and discussion of accreditation in higher education. We'll look at what it is, why it's necessary, who does it, and how it's done. There will be some samples available of accreditation standards from accrediting organizations. We'll focus close to home with the current institutional reaccreditation process Binghamton University is engaged in for MSA and what makes it unique. In addition, there will be some historical musings on the process as it was done 10 years ago.
