Abstract:

These sessions will show how to define, store and solve equations on both the TI-86 and the TI-89.  Calculus applications will be used to demonstrate the capabilities of the graphing utility. Matrices will be used to solve systems of equations.   Some basic statistical analyses will be performed on each calculator.  Additionally a few special topics (symbolic computations, 3D graphing, differential equations) will be introduced on the TI-89.
