Report from Broome Community College

In the spring semester Broome Community College hosted Hanxiang Peng who
spoke to us on Forecast In Presidential Elections:
What Is Wrong With The Polls? He gave his talk on March 15th . Many of our
faculty came to the talk. Our faculty also had the pleasure of hearing many
BU graduate students talks at the MAA Seaway Section meeting in April. We
had a PFF dinner at the end of the semester. All had a wonderful time.
The BCC math department really enjoys participating in the grant. It has
allowed the relationship among the participating universities and colleges
to become richer.
